As it is a quieter period on the pitches, the work continues behind the scenes in a number of areas so we felt that now would be a good time to give an update on a couple of things we have been working on.

Girls Section Update
From starting our own girls section almost 12 months ago, we have witnessed the exponential growth of this section from less than 15 players to begin with, to a number in the ballpark of 130.
This is down to the hard work of the coaches, parent volunteers, and all those who support in other ways. However, a special mention must go to Gary Dickson for his relentless efforts on a daily basis to work towards the Club's common goal - to provide an environment for young children to enjoy playing football.
They are now at capacity so if you know of anyone that would be interested in joining please can you send a note of interest to girls@busbyafc.com.
Busby Football Academy Sessions
In another first for the club, we launched our very first Busby Football Academy sessions last night at Millennium Park with head coach Shaun Noon leading each of them.
These sessions are focused on building a player's technical ability, confidence, and love for playing football. The sessions are also suitable for all abilities whether you are a newbie to football; have played football before but would like to get back into it or if you are part of our club already and you are looking for more training throughout the week.
We are sure your child will take something out of it. There are 5 sessions left of this block, which you can still book. You can find out more info here.
Club Merchandise
We will soon be launching a new club shop in partnership with a new supplier. This will see our in-house club shop be moved to an out-house, UK-based supplier.
We will have our own online shop front where you will buy from and all orders will be shipped directly to your door within 10-14 days. This will not be live until mid to late August.
Due to this, we have a 50% off all remaining club stock using code SALE50 - there is no limit or restrictions to this code and all items in the cart for club merchandise will be half price.

Thank you to everyone who bought into this, we had 12 entries and the draw has been made. This will be posted on our social channels this week.
Last Man Standing
We have launched a club-wide last man standing competition to secure funds to progress our vision for Millennium Park.
