As you may have seen recently, we now have our very own Girls' section!
This has been at the forefront of the Club's vision for a number of years and due to one reason or another, we have long been unable to get this off the ground.
The section has been up and running for a number of weeks and now has well over 50 young girls taking part in the sport that we all love. The three sections/age groups we currently have are U8s, U10s, and U12s.
We asked the head of the Girls' section, Gary Dickson, for a quick word:
"We have grown from 30 girls to 55 in the space of 3 weeks. We have girls aged 7 to 12 now playing football which is amazing.The girls and ladies game has never been in a better position and we at Busby AFC want to give a platform to the next generation of girls."
